Hopefully he finishes this rehab in February as I hope to have him set up an out of town, large (over 3000’) luxury STR in the spring.When he completes that effort, we will be concentrating on getting him a property in San Diego which as everyone knows is very expensive.

The Condominium is high rise new building w/ high service luxury amenities including concierge services, valet parking etc.

That's why in LA you only see new construction in the luxury markets.

I'm not assuming you do, but the luxury creep is real and someone has to say it.I would also focus on higher priced asset classes.

Indeed, unless you're in the luxury segment, renters won't give that much of a dime and in any case won't pay a huge premium because your condo is beautiful.
