A B&B style house might be OK though.There's also agricultural things you can use the land for like timber harvesting, growing fruits/vegetables and livestock grazing so even if a vacation rental wouldn't work it might be possible to rent the land for agricultural use.

But, I've been out in the boonies in developing countries and you see people living in shacks that I wouldn't keep livestock in, and outside their house are parked brand new pickups, scooters, motorcycles, etc.

But had a visitor to my farm tripped and fallen over or gotten bit by one of my animals, they would have been suiting my farm entity which only had about $1,000 in the checkbook at any given point as the dollars were transferred out to my holding company regularly - not that there was much money in livestock farming.
