The idea of it sitting empty caused me emotional damage. 

No need to be emotionally attached to any property, or the time you invested in finding this "deal"

Most recent example is H2 2022, buying any asset was the right move if you remove the emotion.

Look at the capital call the same way and take your emotions out of it.
