It has a decommissioned oil tank on the property....bwahahahhaaa!

I spoke to a broker earlier that tells me even if it was decommissioned legally it still might be leaking.

Hi everyone,My property has a cell phone tower on its roof, and I just received a letter from the carrier saying they've decommissioned some of their microwaves, and that they want us to reduce rent in light of this usage change.There's an implied threat of terminating the lease ("<carrier> will similarly consider this site's viability and continue to evaluate alternatives").Now, I assume they'd have to at least stick around for the next several years until the end of the current arm of our lease, but I do enjoy the stability of having a much longer term lease with them.So... is this just a bluff, to shake out people who are easy?

Account Closed For what it's worth when we bought our house there was a decommissioned cesspool on the property, I had never even heard of a cesspool for house sewage before but am fairly familiar with septic but our realtor assured us is was pretty much a non-issue and that lots of homes in the area had them.

If so, Seller must empty, decommission and remove the underground oil tank.

I had some questions:1) Could you get a conventional loan (non commercial) once the apartment is decommissioned?

Or decommission the old footings with new footings & posts next to them along the beam line (your footings might be undersized for the soil).
