I’m giving serious consideration to converting into a PadSplit.However, I have heard that Fort Worth (the city, Tarrant County, the faceless boogey man…) has issues with PadSplit whereas Dallas County is supportive.I would love to hear about your experiences between the two markets and if Fort Worth can be viable for PadSplit and anything I should be mindful of?

Happy to share the pros and cons of the various communities in both counties.Orange County (Orlando) places severe restrictions on most vacation rentals, with a few exceptions - so you’ll want to be careful there.

Start with the county, zoning, planning commissions etc.

@Andrew Slezak  HUD does studies of rent for the whole country and published the MEDIAN rent for every area/county/zipcode in the country. 

@Jerry Tello I should have mentioned the laws and how they affect your returns vary tremendously from state to state, and sometimes county to county.
