Several large developers have built beautiful high end condo feel student apartments super close to campus which initially depressed rents in houses.

You will see one street with beautiful homes and the next street will have several run down homes and then the next with beautiful homes again.

So bottom line they got away with it and are living in a beautiful safe clean country. 

It's turned into a money pit, but at the same time it's on a beautiful .90 acres with a view of the mountains and a pool that I had remodeled.
