Some say that you have to file a separate civil action (in addition to the actions to remove the tenant)  to be awarded a judgement against the tenant and some things I read online seem to imply you can do them both at once through 1 action. 

Sounds like the realator is just trying to insert themselves into the build contract so they can either get some sort of kickback and/or convince the client to award the contract to them instead.

@Samuel Coronado, I don't know your state's law but I would think that you would go to court to have the unit declared abandoned and for possession to be awarded back to you.

Better yet, Nick Nanton and JW Dicks, also own a company called the National Academy of Bestselling Book Authors that will essentially give an award to anyone who has a book place in a "best-selling list" on Amazon and will pay them a fee.
