@Tim Simmons Went back to both articles and the numbers are very clear which is why I'm puzzled...the plot actually thickens..a broker just sent me two off market portfolio offers of 14 houses for 7M each (again 500K x house).

We’ve been having good luck with Arvest Bank in jonesboro on commercial loans lately and Derek Bowman at Simmons bank is bending over backwards to get deals done. 

@Mike Lee Although I agree with @Tim Simmons that it is to early to think about a name, it is NOT too early to think about your business structure.

I agree with @Tim Simmons, a Solo 401k would not be a good way to structure a business operation because of the prohibited transactions rules and, to a lesser extent, unrelated business income tax.
