I am more the tortoise than the hair.  

This is a version of being the tortoise rather than the hare. 

Alex I learned to be the tortoise, not the speedy rabbit .....Very hard for me as, I am go 100 miles at all times.

Remember the tortoise always wins the race.  

Be the tortoise then the hare, not either or.

I consider myself more of a tortoise, slow and steady.
