But I’m still looking for answers to my questions with supporting evidence IF it’s a criminal offense (likely mortgage fraud) but also could there be further investigation of this bank by the FEDs or? 

We also have homestead exemptions where I'm at - which an LLC isn't able to take advantage of - so I would investigate the benefits of that as well when considering selling it to yourself.

@Suhaib - For me, the biggest driver is the ability to increase rents for a particular building/property and then investigating what it would take to get the rents to that level.
