No telling what a desperate, bankrupt government will do.  

@Placeholder PlaceholderOne word of caution I would advise: If a community or local government is enacting restrictions and also regularly enforcing them, then its often a reflection of the local community sentiment which increases the chance of a neighborhood or nearby resident calling you in if they think you may be running an STR.

The government of Costa Rica has a policy to limit development and doesn't invest much in infrastructure to bring tourism.

The challenge is that non-government jobs are often short-lived.

Personally, I would be shocked if a government agency looked into this.

Issue is, in these "bad" deals the government comes after the lease option seller for predatory lending practices and the eviction / foreclosure process is a nightmare.

The government will pay on time all the time once it is set up completely.

The provision that my city government was using to stop whole neighborhoods from adding adu’s was addressed.

As much as I hate government and regulation, this kind of BS is why we have it. 

Why someone willingly wants to work with a government agency that will slow down turnover, dictate rents and rent increases, and dictate repairs is beyond me.
