I have given many CPE credit webinars to CPAs, and the analytics from the polls showed that most were not actively involved in accounting, but wanted to keep the accreditation for various reasons. 

When I say I am new, I am very green in practice - outside of buying and selling my primary residences and renting out part of a property I own, I haven't don't much else with real estate.I have put quite some time into reading up on different topics in this area and watching podcast, webinars etc.

As my industry is currently shut down, I decided now was the time to really get serious in getting the ball rolling.I have been listening to the BP podcast and BP Rookie podcast as much as possible (probably about 25 episodes so far), attending the weekly BP webinars, and am reading up a storm.

There are plenty of virtual networking opportunities on here as well as webinar and more events. 

I'd just work on building my credit, getting a good W2 job, and reading House Hacking by Craig Curelop.However, if it were me, and I was 18 with the goal of becoming a real estate millionaire and financially free by the age of 25.... then I'd get 2 jobs (preferably jobs that interact with the public and increase people skills), reduce all of my spending, save as much as I could, read all of these books twice, listen to all the BiggerPockets podcasts, watch all of the free webinars, read blog posts, watch youtube videos, go to local meet ups , network and immerse myself into the world of real estate.

I want to see what I can do to get started.BRRRR also seems very interesting and powerful although rehabbing a house seems a bit intimidating at this point in time, especially when I am working my 9 to 5 during the workweek.To reach my goals, I will continue learning about REI through the podcasts, the weekly webinars, real estate books, and joining Houston real estate meetups, either in person or online, to network with local investors, share ideas, and see what they are doing to have success in REI in Houston.These are my initial thoughts and goals.

From my experience watchibng several BP webinars that cover analysis of properties , the presenter usually highlights an estimate of 5% of monthly income from a propety for saving for capital expenditures.

I did found some interesting information on youtube as well  If anybody gets some good webinars let me know.

I am so intrigued by real estate and have been reading books, listening to podcasts, attending webinars, and would attend local meet-ups (before COVID).
