I am going to work for a property manager in a few weeks to learn more about it but I wanted to see what the BP community was thinking on a more macro level.I see a lot of opinions that these investments are at the top of the market and some people are predicting a bubble in the market because people have been blindly buying up these properties.

Owning guns is a pain in the butt in CA, so I'm relatively light on the guns but have various bladed instruments staged about our home (that I own, obviously).The hoarding is the only thing you described that strikes me as unusual.This dude probably wants to do what is expected of him, which is not causing permanent damage to the property and pay his rent on time, in exchange for basically being left alone to quiet enjoyment of the unit.

I think that if I could predict this with greater than 70% accuracy, I'd be on Wall St making billions of dollars per year. :)If anyone here CAN predict this with >70% accuracy, PM me immediately because you're taking over management of all my retirement accounts and other liquid assets.

Main strategy is to invest in NNN leased properties to national "credit" tenants, presumably to provide predictable cash flow with limited downside.If you're just looking to park your money, it's not a bad option as the broker commissions should be low.
