If you can find a current broker to bring you along that's likely best, but just going to events like that will show you the players in your market. 

I'm still not going to post at length here as there is clearly more to come out, but the past few posts are interesting to me.

Focus on what the rents will look like post-renovation with 4 units instead of 2, and have a clear game plan for refinancing to pull your capital back out.
