Curious to hear best practices or lessons learned on buying one Multifamily property at a time or saving on closing and other costs by putting together a packaged deal?

What ways are you guys getting package deals done?  

Well, is the owner looking to only sell them as a package deal?

Ask to see a typical offer package and why they are a more successful negotiator than their competition.

The property will need to be listed, offer obtained, and the sellers financial package will need to be reviewed by the mortgage servicers to see if a settlement is possible.

@Todd, the "Stalling" of a short sale can ONLY work if you are outside of 37 days from sale AND you have a full package short sale offer on a property that is listed for sale on the MLS.

@Jared Garfield  we partook  bought 54 homes.. then the hedge funds as you stated came in we and were paying double the next month at the auctions.. we then packaged them all up and sold to a hedge fund for double what we paid for them.. :) it was the best of times! 

Be sure to follow the directions on the package for dissolving the powder in hot water.
