Whether you occupy it or not, you won't be able to qualify for another loan for another year.You might not end up living there for an entire year because if you move in and you don't like the house, you don't like the neighborhood, or you need to relocate for a job.If you get the loan and never intended to live there for an entire year, then you are committing mortgage fraud. 

B or better neighborhood with an active sales market. 

That is $500 easy savings by shopping around, but make sure you are adequately covered.

Nothing wrong with living somewhere like that temporarily while you look into places/neighborhoods that you would want to buy/live in as well.

Hi Zach, I have a property in Sulphur, OK that I’m looking to fix and flip, residential neighborhood, but I’m running into issues with obtaining a DSCR loan due to “rural”.
