My belongings fit in two backpacks which I carry on for flights.

I doubt the high-minded justify their 'necessary' backpacking trip around Thailand or their European jaunt to become more cultured. 

I come home and I open my computer laptop and started figuring out equations that seemingly couldn't be solved.

I always harken back on this.I had gone on a 2 week camping trip to Tetons etc ended up over in Northern Wa cascades all the way up at the end of Lake Chelan which is just north of Wenatchee .. then hiked up into the remote forests of the northern cascades back packing.. came to this little lake after a full day hike.. we see one other couple camping/ back packing .. and we go over to say HI... the lady looks at me and says are you John Hinrichs I say no I am Jay.. she says I am Emily Buckley we bought your Ranch house from your dad... so 800 miles from home base and there home base.. 55 miles up one of the most awesome lakes in America  a full days hike into the northern cascade wilderness and run into only 2 people in the 4 days were were camping .. and they were clients of my dads and bought our ranch house.. to me the odds of that are like winning the lottery for sure.. so I always play..  

Finally after pulling out my clunky laptop, my photo uploaded after like 5 minutes. 

This is from my experience as a backpacker who been to 30 countries in my 20's I have lived in Singapore, Tokyo, New York, Portland, LA, Bay Area now.

Just ethical to tee off the next buyer if they inherit her. 

Obviously Sonder is all in on this and I think this is a great option for STR owners.Living in Charleston, I've had numerous conversations with individuals who packed up their laptop and came down from NY, Jersey, and Boston and have been hunkering down until the dust settles, renting STR's on a month-to-month basis. 

Having said that, I just switched to a cloud-based solution (you can access from your iphone or anyone's laptop that has internet).

I've had to go to my laptop to message someone.
