You can't get a high quality gourmet dinner party for the same price as a Happy Meal from McDonald's.

I donated it to this charity dinner/auction for wild animals. 

Have a day where the kids cook and clean up after dinner (assuming they are old enough, but even a 10 year old with some supervision can do a simple pasta dinner or pizza). 

Island Prime is a little farther north, closer to airport but has an amazing view of the bay, book a time near sunset and enjoy dinner and a show (by mother nature).  

That said, there is nothing wrong with answering the phone, responding to emails, doing research online while your kids are playing, eating dinner, doing homework, taking a nap, on a slide at a playground while you are sitting on the bench, still sleeping at 5am while you are enjoying your first cup of coffee, etc. 

I first let you know about this in early December; then on Christmas it froze solid what we were planning to make for our holiday dinner.

I had a situation where our guest messaged me and said "We just got home from dinner, and there is a dead cat in your driveway." 

Possibly get a free lunch, or dinner out of it! 

There is just a lot that COULD go wrong, and if the deal goes sideways that could make for some very uncomfortable Thanksgiving day dinners if you know what I mean.

I met with the investor over dinner and learned more about their business, their plans, and what they wanted to focus on.
