Having seen earlier proposals for Boston ordinances it seems a pretty reasonable compromise proposal to allow residents to offset Boston’s sky high prices by renting out all or part of their homes, while preventing non-local investors from further removing already limited housing supply (the ultimate fear of all housing departments).

Most of the homes I've represented here recently have been new builds, and I currently view the margins on rehabbing off-market or wholesale deals as too risky in my market.What has really made me consider the Flip System is my own experience of making offers on 5-6 homes — each over the asking price — only to find myself among many bidders and ultimately seeing another offer accepted.
