The water from the leak has seaped under the shared wall between the units, saturating the drywall and underneath my laminate flooring.I contacted my insurance company to look for their suggested course of action, but they didn't really help much.

@Kevin Green you might want to know that french drains are usually for slow seeping soil water accumulation, and not for fast large amounts of water (which will go right over it).

If the leak was big then it would be noticed through the Sheetrock ceiling on the first floor underneath.

We had to treat professionally twice, scrub everything down, take off all the electric covers and vaccuum out the wall receptacles, throw out the fridge, Kilz and repaint, rip out all the carpet and patch & refinish the hardwood floors underneath.

Hi everyone, I'm a young professional who has one rental underneath his belt and i want to buy more, specifically a property in Trenton, i heard it could be good for cash flow, i am a handy man, more specifically an electrician, I'm willing to trade knowledge for work. im really looking for single family homes that are along the hamilton/trenton border that may or may not need work but turn into something worth while, does anyone know what specific neighborhoods are worth looking into?

You’ll still have to pay for and pass the state tests, background checks, etc.Yes you have to join a brokerage, an agent has to work underneath a Broker and yes you have to pay to join the MLS....here you also have to join the Nat’l Assoc of Realtors....about $1,000/year between the two.
