I wake up, put on "Riding the Storm Out" by Illinois' very own REO Speedwagon (lol, I just realized that's gonna trigger for those who have the keyword REO for "real estate owned"), write my affirmations, remind myself I got this, and start my day.  

We’re all trying to ride this wave and address those tenants that took advantage of the system.  

Mandatory quarantine due to illness earlier in the month morphed into mandatory work-from-home orders and equals us getting the renovations completed ourselves and we just signed a lease with a tenant today.

Lots of factors beyond anyone's control, so start early and be prepared for a bumpy ride.  

Same up some cash and get ready for a fun ride!!!

This is going to be a bumpy ride for a couple of months3) Currently you can pay cash for a house and then do delayed financing.

Thanks @Tom Shallcross we also now have 18 month and 24 month options (no prepayment penalty) so if you need to put a renter in you can ride this crisis out. 

I am not able to purchase any other house without using those funds, so I am stuck staying in this Airbnb shared with a guy who coughs all night long and doesn’t have a car, always bothering me for rides and rolling papers, ect, eating my food, and yesterday he was yelling and waving a large kitchen knife around threatening his “friend of twelve years” and scaring the crap out of me.
