When I complained about the HOA expenses, I ended up becoming board President.

They can be run extremely well one minute, and then the president quits and all of a sudden some bozo comes along and it is a nightmare.

Does that bank president who you (you the generic investor) made look bad during the recent past by stealing properties for pennies on the dollar have any incentive to cut you a break?

After talking to some of my neighbors I found ou the president of our HOA, had stepped down and a new President had been voted in, old pres would not turn over the records and computer to new Pres so he ended up stepping down because he could not do the job w/o records.

These two guys are also on the board (one is the President) of the local Real Estate club with 30-40 members.
