I have a very low cost of living, I moved a little over two years ago with my parents to a property they purchased years ago, and I live rent free in a small cabin on the property.

I've been looking at Stockton real estate for a while, and wondering if and when you'll see bay area transplants start moving out that way.

Unfortunately, the last month and a half has been filled with 2 funerals and an Uncle going through a double lung transplant in Gainesville.

Since we only put down 5% we have PMI but are hoping that after a few months of rehab (full kitchen remodel, paint, laminate flooring and bathrooms) we can get an appraisal of 80/20 and get our mortgage down so that we can live rent free.
