I am looking to invest in a multi family property (such as a quad), I have quite a bit of savings ready to go but my main issue is I live and work in a very isolated part of North Dakota which makes it very difficult for me to scope out potential neighbourhoods and out of state areas which might be suitable.

You can do a pressure test to isolate the issue

What hurts Haverhill is that is geographically isolated, equidistant between 93 and 95 will likely forever limit its growth.

SLC seems to be isolated from the fluctuations of the rest of the country. 

So basically I want to stay away from the title "property management" because I don't want to collect rents for properties being that I solely want to focus on the vacation home owners and not the rentals. 

The second floor unit looks just fine though, and the first floor unit sagging is isolated to one side, likely damage to just 1-2 floor joists.
