Liability limits for commercial policies are usually higher ($1,000,000) and usually offer the ability to increase those limits.So in your case, your DP3 policy would cover potential damage to the property and a commercial general liability policy for injuries, etc.

We would like something else, probably 1 million to start, that would help protect us from other potential lawsuits (unlawful evictions, injury, death, etc)I'm unsure which type of policy would be best to blanket cover our on LLC and would allow us to increase our coverage as the portfolio of properties increase.

From what I understand, the house would have to STAY in my name, for the 2 years of experience, meaning the LLC is uninvolved with no protection for injuries/lawsuits.
