So here is my thinking;I need to buy time - I need to be sure that the decision I am about to make that I can make a cash profit and that I am not going to embarrass myself or tie the seller up too long unnecessarily.

It's better to ask a question and risk embarrassment than to not ask and risk serious problems.

Our company has actually been engaged to consult to state regulators in six states because they and their staff attorneys are lost and they are embarrassing themselves when they examine non depository chattel lenders who have had to license as mortgage lenders in those states. 

Im not even clear on what that means but I was too embarrassed to ask her what she meant by "leveraged".

I may not tell about it then, might be embarrassing.

Hi Guys...I read the book...and I loved it... there are some great insights in there...from the website, I sent an inquiry for the coaching program...I had a call from someone who scheduled a phone call with what he called "program director"I've just finished the call with that guy who appeared to me like a salesman who tried aggressively to sell me the program on spot for $ 4,899.He tried to embarrass me by making me feel that if didn't pay immediately, then I'm not serious about the coaching, I'm chickening out and accordingly I'll never be rich having this attitude...he tried to sell me a service that looked very vague to me!!

Be willing to make some embarrassing offers.  

When making an offer, if you're not embarrassed by it, then it is too high.

I like to look at a lot of properties and offer embarrassing low prices. 

Finding 1% deals which I personally wouldn't be embarrassed to live in for a year is even harder.
