People frequently think they are going to skirt rules or regulations with cute maneuvering with LLCs.

Most important things in the STR market are: #1) Location - quaint cool desirable town or area, #2) as close as you can buy to the center of this town or area, #3) exceptional house - not necessarially expensive, but cute/funky/quaint/memorable, #4) Clean.

Somehow got our hands on a cute little ranch to rent out near ski slopes, but the inspection revealed a slightly caving foundation in one corner of the house.

It isn't cute.
