Seems to be a reasonable compromise on the "cash flow" v "appreciation" balancing act.In other cases we are seeing folks that were able to negotiate with their employer to allow them to work remotely (yes, you can get a mortgage in such a scenario if your employer will confirm in writing that you're OK'd to work remote).

The linings are not just linings, but hardened to better than the original pipes and some on the technology used pipe bursting so the lining expanded and burst the original pipe, making a larger pipe area for the flow, especially if the flow in the original pipe was compromised.

So long as the buy price accounts for this work or your ARV and cashflow analysis support the overall rehab with the foundation work, you'll come out ahead every time.That said, if you come across a slab on grade home that has greater than 6" of deflection from one side of the house to the other you absolutely need to call a plumber to TV the sanitary mainline to make sure it hasn't been compromised.
