For example, our garage was built in the 1940's but the City STILL required that the concrete be tested for moisture percentage (concrete takes a loooooong time to cure), pass that testing and then we had to have a special moisture barrier resin applied by a company who specializes in that type of chemical application.

My problem is that the townhome sits over a lake, and even though I got the insulation updated when I got new floors, apparently it wasn't good enough as the moisture underneath the home has damaged the subfloor.
