As a note...the properties were all vacant during install so the installers did not have to move furniture (which is extra) and I removed and disposed of the old carpet rather then having the installers do it (which would have been extra as well).Bottom line is that I am happy with HD.

I'm pretty frugal and currently have a desk set up in the back of a buddies furniture store for free.

The more guests are showering outside less wear and tear on your bathroom, less sand and suntan lotion to clean from furniture.

It looks cool but walking up those joints...isn't cool and I can only imagine moving furniture on those things. 

We used clique studios a few years back and they were great. delivery was furniture style not on the pallet. there was one incorrect size but it was a packing error not the order and quickly corrected.

One question I have is how to incorporate depreciation of fixtures (kitchen, bath, floor) and furniture (including curtains, etc).

Furniture, yah.

What this equates to is instead of a 2,000 leather sofa lasting 10 years they have a piece of crap that is 15 years old handed down many times falling apart in few months.

Anyways, there was coffee stains (and more) all over the walls and furniture.
