Honestly, right now you are clueless as to whether this is a good deal, without knowing the area, immediate comp.s, someone doing a visual inspection, etc.

I am strictly doing "buy and hold" so I am probably not working as many hours on a regular bases as some others here on BP so they can visualize RE maybe easier as a part time possibility.

We are a visually driven society and the more quality pictures you can show a potential renter/buyer; the easier it will be to fill.Build a website: It may be overkill, but when you only own two properties... why not.

There's too much time for negotiation, and too many opportunities for "but you said you were going to fix that" conversations.To make matters worse, most homebuyers can't visualize the finished product.

DIY website builders like Wix and Squarespace can create simple, nice visual websites.

That being said, it does not mean you will be unable to obtain land parcel data for your area of interest.Assuming you can get the data, my understanding is that GEP allows the visualization of a .shp file and some limited querying of its database.

Another idea is a floating staircase, possibly even one that runs perpendicular to the long wall, so that the full width of each space can be used, while maintaining the visual openness and picking up the space under the stairs...
