Just make sure you have a good team (contractors, inspectors) lined up to help you navigate the renovations.

Team - We plan to 'BUILD' an ADU in our backyard needed to know if there are any "Non-Traditional ADU financing options" out there?

If you are serious and have the time and interest in researching different markets and building up a team so you are going in with a plan, it can make sense.
