The proposal announced by Council President Sean Elo-Rivera is expected to outright ban or limit:An owner or their family members from moving in.Substantial remodels or rehabilitation of a property.Withdrawal of residential rental structure from the rental market.Please voice your concerns  - this will become the status quo - if you think they are going to end this "emergency" anytime soon here, think again.

Specifically, because my name is not typically associated with Black people, where my wife and I invest are not and because my speaking voice is neutral, I regularly receive a lot of enthusiasm about properties we wish to buy, sell or rent. 

The property was rented just as everything was shutting down due to COVID at a slightly reduced rate from what I thought was the going market rate in the area but I was ready to panic due to the shutdowns and my property manager was the voice of reason.

The sky is falling(chicken little voice): I get a lot of questions on what's going on in the South Florida market.

I text them the following message from my google voice number and to all of the phone numbers I had for them on file.

The phone goes to a google voice number that goes directly to my cell and there aren't even any missed calls.
