@Loretta Gray - agree mostly, however the "techy" area by Dulles is good IF there's going to be any distribution.

Drawing the line between subcontractor and gc is can be a gray area but the are a lot of subs that have a gc license and should be willing to talk about it.

You may be right about the fair housing thing but seems like a gray area to me.

Paint the exterior a color that fits the area, but pops - think grays and blues. 

I would think the refinancing of a property I buy outright to obtain a small portion of funds to help with the down payment of the second would be straightforward (as I would continue to hold the debt), but I am having a hard time finding authoritative resources on this, and just hear that it's a "gray area" for the IRS.

It's sort of a mistake in the escrow but the QI seems to say it's OK to do but it's a gray area because it technically should have been handled in the escrow.

I dont knowThe way I did them nothing was being sold and I was sub-leasing or assigning my right to lease but I see how it can be a gray area.
