I would base your deposit and monthly surcharge on the potential damage typical of pet ownership (floors/moulding/corners chewed). 

Hey NA Beard - yeah I hear that.I'm not exactly sure if your critique is that I, as a software business, probably shouldn't be looking into real estate, or that an investor probably shouldn't be looking into building software.The former is something that I've been chewing on, and could definitely go into more detail.As to the latter, I can see your point, but there are always going to be counterexamples.

But there are  a lot of additional overhead expenses that chew up any of the additional revenues.

So when their precious little angels flush toys down the toilet they pay for it to get snaked, and when Spot chews up the blinds they pay to replace them.

Seems like growth is more important than servicing customers and eventually they bite off more than they can chew and the response time and tracking suffer.

I've received some good PMs and e-mails about particulars from members that didn't want to be chewed up on here, lol.

Modern materials and coatings do a great job from having a dog scratch up a floor however at the same time you don't know if they're going to chew up the cabinets or some nice molding around a door.

Who knows what kind of bills they have that could easily chew up the rest of their income.

A puppy needs constant supervision and chews on EVERYTHING.
