I did walk away from this exact property but it was good practice I think for me and I will be looking into some more in the coming weeks.My next question is property management for something that strictly does emergency calls where I can not be present?

DSCR loans offer alternatives for DTI/income and employment, but generally still have strict personal credit requirements. 

I know for a couple of my STRs the management company uses the keypad system whereby they are able to set codes offsite for each renter and this is super helpful when working correctly.

I dont have a problem with living spaces that don't meet code for myself, but for others I wouldn't do it.
