My wife and I bought our first townhome in 2022, have steadily grown, and now have 5 townhomes and 1 single family home. 

From that point on i bought a 3 family lived there for a year then moved up to 4 family and then on. 

I have bought multiple properties personally, where rents were very low to begin with, and were even locked in for over a year, but once that renewal came up, I was able to simply raise the rent and keep the current tenant.

Since you bought it in close to the end of the 2023 tax year this is something that you will want to review....

What did the numbers look like when you bought it?

I had the house inspected when I bought it, and nothing really came to light about this. 

If you’ve bought your STR recently then you should be familiar with the process and you can proceed accordingly if it’s a solid deal.

We manage a 4 unit that the owner bought for $420,000 and he is grossing over $10k per month with MTR. 

Bonus points on the fact they keep it in stock in store.  

I have not bought any new properties in years, and don't have a need to, I have almost stopped looking-that was the hardest part...........My wife and I are retired, we live within our means and we have all the money we will ever need and then some.
