There are investors in every category A,B,C,D,F and I bet there is an entrepreneur out there who is renting space out on the side walk here on skid row here in downtown LA.Bottom line an entrepreneur finds a solution that makes them money off of the situation.Like Pat L suggested another play for this situation that you can do.Solves the problems you are facing and makes you money.

Being a newer area, recently added roads are already built up to the edges of this property and blockaded- 30' width, with curbs and sidewalks.

Long story short, the Flood cert on this home returned "NOT IN FLOOD"  :-)  we were 1 foot over and the new elevation reading stopped the BFE (Base Flood Elevation) about a sidewalk square length away from the dwelling.

Unlikely the next door neighbor is going to offer to take care of the problem.Is the tree popping up your sidewalk or an outside porch on a separate slab or is it actually displacing your houses foundation??

We are now working to get it rent-ready...and one of the things that came up was a giant tree in the front yard whose root has completely buckled up the sidewalk in front of the house.
