It's a cosmetic rehab and its looking like we need interior paint, carpet removal, laminate flooring (or refinishing hardwood), drywall repair, replacing or painting some doors, gutter work and pressure washing some brick.

I think non solid wood cabinets aren’t worth or even can be refinished.

One bedroom upstairs needs skim coat.Window Repair - Two double-pane windows that do not close all the way (slight gaps in the corners which leaks air).Hardwood floor refinishing - approximately 480sqft, one small section will need replacement.Thank you for your comments!

In  many cases you replace the bad boards and have the floor refinished and it will look brand new.  

Clean, tidy, there were a couple new cabinets up, he'd done a lot of painting with the walls and work on the floors, he'd broken up the breaker panel into more evenly divided circuits, replaced old cloth wiring with romex, sized one size over code and took the panel from a bird nest of wires to orderly and labeled, he had stripped and refinished some of the older woodwork in the house and replaced a lot of the old cast iron drains in the basement with PVC.

Next would be flooring - do you need to refinish hardwoods? 

The front unit was vacant on purchase, so we refinished wood floors, painted and rehabbed the kitchen and first floor bathroom and swapped some rooms to even out the square footage and make the rear unit where we now live a bit larger.

I don’t want to paint or refinish all the cabs to get a new door to match.Most RTA companies will only have touchup pens.
