I hate to be the one that  tells you this, even when a property is getting financing to enable for someone to close, the existing owner still gets paid in full on that same day. 

The home owner may have filed the BK for legitimate reasons, but as far as including the home that is currently going through a foreclosure in a trustee state is concerned, the CH 7 BK will not prevent the sale.

They can be legitimate, but they are not the preferred way to go.

To be eligible you must have legitimate self-employment activity (regardless if you have a job or not).

There is a way however to roll those funds into self-directed IRA, which will enable you to invest in alternative assets such as real estate.

I'm not in a position to judge whether that is a legitimate concern or an overreaction.

It’s a legitimate question isn’t it ?  

They can and do operate legitimately.

You can save a lot of money by doing the work yourself compared to hiring a contractor but at the same point you want to make sure it is legitimate.
