AND one other thing - CHEAPER is NOT ALWAYS BETTER!

Get one bad tenant and you could lose $20,000 more in the blink of an eye.Renting, around the country, is much cheaper than buying right now.

I don’t expect any favors or pricing advantage because we pay competitive wages but if someone else is committed to doing a job as good and cheaper then the bottom line is I’m still trying to run my business and make a profit.

I owe like 30x my annual salary.For me I owe about 75 times my 2022 taxable income (2023 taxable income has not yet been determine,  but I expect it to not be significantly higher than 2022 - San Diego receive tax extension due to flooding). 

I think you have to look smaller regions and at more individual deals to make a decision, but overall I think that appreciation is a great sign in this area and hilltop is a zip code you can get cheaper houses in Columbus. 

I don't think starting a small place, say an acre with 50-75 units would be a bad place to start (can buy smaller tract of land, closer to town for cheaper) also less risk due to the overall cost...I created a spreadsheet that I use to analyze existing storage units.

My husband Kevin and I moved here a year and a half ago from Frederick, Maryland because the houses out here are considerably cheaper than just across the river into Maryland.

At $1200 monthly rent after the increase, It would still be cheaper by $100 for them to stay versus finding a similar home, but they may not see it that way and I don't want to piss them off or make them leave because a $100 increase could be a shocker. 

Quartz is actually stronger than granite, it doesn't require sealing and is easier to clean, it has more color options, and likely cheaper than granite.

That doesnt even factor in the ongoing savings and various other factors.You are bound to get a bunch of people commenting on here saying you can get the info cheaper elsewhere, yadda yadda yadda, but I highly recommend them.
