wow, that's a new one on me. though I have seen ads on cl with those scams ran a time or two. they pour on some religious and save the children type act that they run somewhere abroad so they can't be there to show the property. hopefully there's no liable claims against you from those victims that actually sent monies....Kudos,Mary

You also have a great expense you can deduct from your income next year at tax time.Homeowner's insurance baloney quotes and rude awakenings have happened to me, too.Get your mother on Section 8 assistance if this goes on.

I listen to them religiously when I'm driving and power walking.  

@Awais Sheikh Welcome to BP and the awakening from the Matrix, so to speak..COC of 12% for a turnkey rental can be challenging in San Antonio, but it is possible.

I religiously Google, etc. everything before I commit.

We've been looking pretty religiously and haven't been able to find anything in our price range, or that produces the #'s were looking for. 

Michael, all good points here by everyone.Make sure you do check out our local meetup, you can meet experienced flippers and maybe people looking for lending too.My only advice is this: as much as you think you know by being behind the monitor, about profits, comps, and estimating repairs by pictures, you will have a rude awakening in the real world with zero flipping experience.  

Read books and listen to podcasts religiously.
