I believe that if you act like your backs to the wall financially, and the first deal will make or break your dreams, like so many others on here, if your educated, focused and driven, you will be wildly successful and then you will have the finances to accelerate faster than many others.

I very much understand the concerns of some neighbors who have had wild bachelor parties next door every weekend but I think that is such a SMALL portion of the total Airbnb visits.

The wild west with no barriers to entry and few ethics.  

Local ordinances and laws can differ wildly, so you don't want to use a lease agreement that is typical of a city even just 50 miles away.Hope that helps, good luck to you and congrats on your purchase!

But I understand tipping is wild in NYC, and that contractors regularly get tipped.

@JOAN DICKIE In NYC they're done a fantastic job of keeping the real estate market as I like to call it, the wild west.

That's more of a wild color choice than I would use but it still looks very nice and matches your countertop.  

I've also seen a phenomenon where people who make a bunch of money in some unrelated biz get the wild idea that it would be cool and fun to open a restaurant/bar and make a bunch of money while having a blast. 99.9% of the time, they seem to end up going down in flames!

I live in Atlanta (the suburbs not the wilderness - although I have 3 kids 4 & under so sometimes it feels like the wild!).
