Anyway, I am thinking of joining a  California contractor school to pass the tests.

I lived in neighboring town of Poughkeepsie called Town of Lloyd - Highland, NY 12528 for more than 19 years its a nice and safe neighborhood with good school district, worlds largest walk-way over Hudson river, lots of trails, golf, biking, scenic drives with good hospitals in 5 miles radius namely: Nuvance Health Vassar Brothers Medical Center, MidHudson Regional Hospital, Saint Francis Medical, Health Quest Home Care and others...The latest addition which is getting constructed is The Village in Highland, NY - Assisted living facility.

To suggest that it would be unethical to purchase the HOA without intent on satisfying the senior liens is simply old school thinking.

 tenant intiially voiced they wanted to stay at least 4 years due to the school district before signing. we are almost through year one with them, and will need to restructure our lease in a few months. they have been fine tenants.i was thinking about incentivizing it, but want some expert opinions. they currently pay 2795 a month, but a total of 2863 with the property mangement fees( pet and "convenience" fees) but we are getting rid of our property mangement company and doing it ourselves. trying to think of the best way to pitch thisso what i was thinking was:2863 for 3 years ( it would stay flat for 3 years)2925 for 2 years (flat for 2)2975 for 1 yearthoughts?

I currently live in NYC attending business school.

Traditional Duplex/Triplex/Quadplex: I grew up with plans to buy a plex and house hack it, ever since I got into REI in high school.

Looking forward to going to real estate school to get my realtor license.

The schools are great and their is plenty of jobs around that area(Johnson County).

OId schools or motels for sale. 

I guess the grass can appear greener on the other side, but this area does not seem to be up and coming, good schools, in demand etc.
