Richard, there's been some interesting discussion of oil related issues by some smart (and some not so smart) guys and gals over on several of the Wall Street Journal online blogs - the Real Time Economics blog in particular.

I can write a long journal on things I have experienced and had do deal with.  

Hedge Fund Manager John Paulson relocated there (and saved $4 Billion Dollars according to Wall Street Journal and New York Times).

In fact I think there was a big write up in the Wall Street Journal and on Marketwatch about discount brokers and Redfin how it was so much cheaper to sell a house these days because the internet has such a wide reach.  

Most county courthouses have to advertise the foreclosures several times in the papers or legal journals before the sheriff sale.

When you look at the Wall Street Journal/Real Trends list for top agents/teams in each state or nationally.....how many of them are at no name brokerages?

@Abbie Gibson I don't know of such a site for RI but in my experience foreclosure data aggregators tend to be somewhat out of date.If you want the "latest and greatest" (freshest) data about upcoming foreclosures, you'll want to check out the legals section of the Providence Journal and town newspapers, as well as individual auctioneer websites for upcoming auctions.Many auctions are cancelled at the last minute so you may want to check the auctioneer website to see if the auction is cancelled.

I own multiple properties and I can literally go MONTHS without doing anything other than cashing checks and making little entries in my accounting journal.
