Do you have any links on how long water softeners are expected to increase the lifespan of various components?

They will have to sell it for a loss cause nobody in their right mind will buy that  The increased developer fees is only going to impact the seller, because they are the ones paying for it.

Rents will raise and property value will increase over the long term.  

Cities like Austin, Dallas, and Houston are each taking different approaches, from subsidized housing to increasing zoning for multifamily developments.
