How many hoses they manage, how they handle maintenance - is there an upcharge?  

She managed to refi but was *totally* hosed on terms/fees -- like catastrophically hosed.

Now, if you are in a rental situation where there is continuity between all the rooms already and you are looking for the next level of pizzazz, you can update old laminate counter tops with new laminate counter tops, lay vinyl plank flooring in the kitchen and bath, spend a little more on bath and kitchen light fixtures, add a few USB charging outlets, install ceiling fans in bedrooms instead of flush mount fixtures (but remember, more moving parts means more points of failure which can equal more maintenance calls - however if you are getting better tenants and higher rent, maybe that doesn't matter - I personally try to remove points of failure - spray hose from sink, ice maker from freezer, garbage disposal, really anything having to do with water).

I also get to control the install, minimizing floor damage, using quality washer supply hoses to prevent flooding and make sure dryer vent connection is good. 

In fact by the time dinner was over I had a nice list.I got up the next morning and went to the local building supply, got a quart of paint, a bucket, some cleaner, a brush and a garden hose.

Unfortunately, the original title work was hosed up and I owned it for three months before I officially owned it.

My understanding is if you just say turn a hose bib on outside the water would jet out with the bacteria into the air and into your lungs.
