A newer agent is more likely to work out details to do what's best for you, the client, as opposed to an agent that does 10000 deals a year and may consider you a number.There are certainly examples of people looking for agents in which I think a more experienced agent will have more benefits than a newer agent for the client, but if you have a growth mindset and consider the fact you want a relationship for years and years, I would explore a newer agent this time.

Check for agents that operate in that area and see what they can provide.

Most teams and brokerages have splits or compensation for agents working underneath them or along side them, so they have some financial interest in your success and are compensated for their time to teach you.

If you have not read SOLD yet by David Greene, its worth it and honestly its better than anything Garry Keller has written on the topic of being an agent, and his books in my mind were the industry benchmark for agents prior to Davids book coming along and blowing all the competition out of the water.
