If you want to shield yourselves as the owners of the properties, then I guess it's possible, but not sure why you want that extra accounting headache.  

Yes time and place for everything, but also just because your buddy does it does not mean its right. yup would have to be a knuckle head to believe that 50 a month for life is better than 1 mil today.. its why folks that win the lottery take the cash..

I one tried to buy a house where the seller was being assessed/taxed for an additional house that was NOT on the property but was actually on the neighbors property and they had been paying an extra $1k or so in taxes for this extra small house for ~10 years!!!

Some H&R folks have earned the designation Enrolled Agent or EA.

I have watched folks buy seconds thinking they just bought a 400k prop for 50k.. that type of thing.. but if your in a rural area with not a lot of activity it can work..

I don't know the intricacies of leaving Evolve, but I'm on the receiving end of folks that have left.
