OJ Simpson actually used that, he had a 10 million dollar or so home, went bankrupt after he lost the civil case, and was able to sell the home afterwards and the money was protected.

Sounds good...in theory...In reality, the legal costs associated with suing a major corporation would likely bankrupt the plaintiffs long before ithad any major impact on the company...

Prices in the Smokies are still pretty high but I am sure there are deals to be had.Any other creative financing would be something like hard money loan which would cost you a bundle.I don't want to advise you to try and move forward on something that in the end would bankrupt you.
